Over seventy years ago the Catleugh family created a hat blocking company called the Hat Service. Our business was carried on into the early seventies and eventually evolved into the The Hatter that exists today. We soon realised that the business needed to adapt to account for the increasing number of people purchasing hats, so we decided to focus on selling hats while still continuing to offer cleaning and blocking services.Today, hats are imported from around over the world in order to have a wide selection of the most popular brands. With many different styles we have hats for every season and occasion. We believe that we are the only professional hat blocking business remaining in Canada.
