The Kothari Group has been successfully developing and managing real estate since its entry into Canada in 1996. The real estate division of the group currently owns and manages two hotels in Winnipeg, Manitoba and in Cambridge, Ontario. In addition, the group is undertaking two condominium developments in Winnipeg. The group entered equity based mortgage financing in the year 2002 with the formation of Mercury Mortgages. The Kothari Group has assisted more than a thousand clients and funded more than $200 million in loans. In 2011, the Kothari Group diversified its finance holdings by starting Orchid Leasing, a sub-prime transport leasing company focusing on owner operators in the transportation space.The group continues to grow through strategic investments in real estate and financing throughout Canada.
