In 1987, Anne opened RQL of Texas. As a longstanding business woman this seemed like a natural next step after raising her family. She purchased an apartment complex in downtown Houston and became the onsite owner & property manager. Anne nurtured the building, the tenants and the company. RQL quickly bloomed into an empire of multi-family apartment complexes.For the next 18 years RQL became the employer for Anne's sons, daughters and grandchildren, making it the family business it is today.As a change of pace, in 1998 Anne made the vast decision to sell the apartment complexes in Houston, Texas and change direction into commercial property management.RQL Investments Canada Ltd. was born and a few years later RQL of Colorado Inc. followed.Now The Latham Group of Companies has become an umbrella for the management and development that goes on within.
