Working as a counsellor and therapist since 1990, I bring years of experience working with a great variety of problems and situations affecting both individuals and couples. I have a background working with both shorter-term, solution-focused approaches and also advanced training in analytical approaches which deal with problems that are deeper-rooted, dating from long ago or recurring in repetitive and self-defeating patterns. I am also an accredited couple therapist, working for the most part with an emotionally-focussed approach (EFT) to help couples identify their negative patterns of interaction and help replace them with more positive ways of communicating and relating to each other.
