To the redevelopment of the town hall, a new steel structure was put in place in part of the barracks to build a new floor at the same level as the existing floor. This change has led to enlarge the site of the town hall and allow the construction of a library. It was at this time that the fire station was also relocated to a new building at the rear of the existing building of the town hall.
