In the early 1970s, Maurice Simard was employed by the suitcase manufacturer Carson. Around 1975, he worked for Rolly Sarault in Hull, where he learned the craft, repairing and restoring goaltenders, hockey, pants and so on. In 1979, it is located in the Mont-Bleu area of ??the former City of Hull. Maurice Simard operates his 15-year-old pendant trade before moving to his current premises at 141 Chemin de la Savane in Gatineau in 1995. The new premises are bigger and the activities more diversified.
