Avid is an on-site, high-precision measurement service company that provides 3-dimensional measurement to manufacturers primarily in the automotive, power and aerospace industries. We use FARO's Articulating Arm, High-Density Scanner and Laser Tracker devices supported by Polyworks Software. Our laser trackers can measure up to 500 feet in one setup with high precision and accuracy. As such, we have extensive experience with as-built inspections for large fabrications which include steam generators, heat exchangers and cooling units. Avid is an ideal support for leveling & alignment activity and a great fit for shutdowns, new installations, and repairs. We have helped companies re-align their plant transfer system components including carriers, lifts, carts, trollies, gates, conveyors, and rollers.
