Their rents include all utilities, taxes, advertising, security and other overhead expenses. They do not pay percentage rent. The landlord pays for all store imprevements. In essence they share in the expenses of a large fully improved central location.Many of our jewellers act as manufacturers contracting directly the best casting houses, goldsmiths and diamond setters, paying only for materials and labour without other markups.
