Constantine Barcados' passion for coloured gems began in Switzerland. He moved to Canada in 1964 and founded C.D. Barcados Co. Ltd., and continues to be active in the business today. His children, Alex and Susan, share his passion for gemstones, and are both gemmologists and are now the co-owners of the business.
