A middle-aged Park Avenue dentist and bachelor evades commitment by telling his much younger girlfriend that he's married with children. When she demands to meet his fictional wife, the ruse threatens to catch up with him. So, he drafts his prickly flower of a nurse to pose as his 'wife'.
