We also do fireplace hearths and mantels, sinks and some furniture. Concrete is growing in popularity as an option for countertops. It's a strong, versatile, and environmentally friendly material. It can be finished in many different ways including solid colours, rock revealed, or with added glass, metal or special rocks. The edges can be customized and one can choose to include a concrete backsplash. Thicknesses can range upwards from 1.5 inches.
