Hazel has always been gifted, even as a child; however, when you first meet Hazel it is her exceptional kindness shining through that will capture you.Since sneaking home a lost guinea pig in a plastic milk bag to mentoring kindergarten students whilst in the eighth grade, Hazel has always lived by her own motto: 'Life: learn it, live it, love it' - and love it she does. As Toffee (the rescued guinea pig) and Blair (the disadvantaged student) discovered while Hazel was young; so have over 5,000 people that Hazel has read for.
