Originally known as an importer of English antiques, Steptoe operated a successful retail antique business in the Yorkville area of Toronto until 1978.Steptoe subsequently pioneered the development of several aspects of the renovation and restoration industry and now specializes in architectural metal products. Steptoe's reputation has been built on many years of growing strong relationships with our customers in North America and abroad, and within our industry.Steptoe's president, Bernard Snitman, is a member of CAPHC, the Canadian Association of Professional Heritage Consultants. And yes, there is a wife. Marna Snitman works in the company and together, she and Bernard founded and operate this thriving business.Steptoe & Wife has been the market leader in the manufacture and sales of the highest quality cast iron spiral and straight staircases since 1976. Steptoe consults with architects, designers and developers to determine project requirements.
