Fitness Depot is the largest retailer of specialty exercise and fitness equipment in Canada, offering the guaranteed lowest prices in North America. Edwin Cameron and Marc Dubois founded Fitness Depot in 1993. Their first location at 40 Ronson Drive in Toronto is still in operation. Fitness Depot was the first and remains the only true big box fitness specialty retailer in Canada. In the early 90s, the partners adopted the now ubiquitous warehouse/depot concept to overcome the shortcomings of boutique fitness stores. By decreasing costs and leveraging their increased buying power, Fitness Depot offers the best brands at significantly lower prices than the competition
