Hiscoe School Of Jiu-Jitsu

At the Hiscoe School of Jiu-Jitsu, we teach total awareness, which means recognizing the early warning signs of an attack and pinpointing additional dangers like concealed weapons, extra attackers, and environmental hazards. It also means learning how to use objects in your immediate environment, parked cars, your bike, trees, items on your person, etc. as tools of self-defence or "weapons of opportunity." In addition, you'll learn an arsenal of physical techniques for self-defence, including strikes, hold escapes, breakfalls, throwing, grappling, joint locks and defensive techniques against punching, kicking and weapons attacks.
