The Little Green Schoolhouse

The Little Green Schoolhouse is located in Applewood Acres. The licensed early childhood learning centre offers half-day programs for children preschool to senior kindergarten age. A hands-on, literacy rich curriculum, integrating language, math, science and the arts, also emphasizes healthy living and well-being which nurtures the whole child. The centre boasts a secure natural playground area large enough to incorporate an organic garden where the children help plant fruits and vegetables. Seasonal garden foods are incorporated into the school¿s organic menu and weekly activities. Registrations are being accepted for 2011/12.
