The Centre aims to help to deliver translation of basic scientific research developments into clinical benefit for patients with rheumatological disease, with a focus on the 10-25 year age group.There are numerous scientific research centres for Paediatric Rheumatology and Adult Rheumatology, but none for Adolescent Rheumatology. Thus this centre, which will focus on scientific research as well as addressing the broad needs of adolescents with arthritis.
