Avant-garde Emporium is the realization of the childhood dream of proprietor and shopkeeper Geraldine Leyenhorst. Born in the Village of Jordan, she came home at the turn of the century to establish herself and her favourite kind of store in a location remembered for holding all sorts of unique and wonderful treasures over the years, and boasting the most beautiful views over the valley of the 20 Mile Creek.
