The Hamilton Military Museum

Burlington Heights, where Dundurn stands today, was occupied by the British Military from 1813 to 1815. Housed in Battery Lodge, the museum tells the story of the people who lived in the area during the War of 1812. Blood Ties to a Gentle landscape showcases the historical figures of this area through documentary evidence, period artifacts, and stories passed down through generations.
