Keith McLaren and his wife Julia have been Guelphites since 1965. Keith earned his Certified Management Accountant Designation in 1986 and in the past has employed his expertise as an instructor in Introductory Financial and Managerial Accounting, Finance, Small Business Operations (Continuing Education, Conestoga College), Accounting & Supplies Supervisor (Royal Life Saving Society Canada), Controller (ACLO Compounders Inc.), and CFO (A-MAIZE-ING Energy Corporation). Always community-minded, Keith has been an active volunteer as Treasurer of the Edward Johnson Music Foundation, Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph and Financial Agent for the CPC, Guelph Electoral District. His interests include model trains, hiking, camping, and taking either his bike or motorcycle for a spin.
