Welcome to Amber Sperling Social Work and Psychotherapy Services. Healing Minds, Empowering lives. We offer individual, couples and group therapy specializing in women's mental health and wellness. Our office is located in downtown Barrie with free parking or virtually across Ontario and Newfoundland for your convenience. All of the therapists here are highly trained to provide pre / postpartum, women's wellness, menopause and trauma focused treatment. We use talk therapy and psychotherapy techniques connecting mind & body to work through past trauma. We serve first responders with recent event trauma processing, as well as life transitions that can be unique to your experience. Our therapists are trained in EMDR, REBT, CPT, DBT, mindfulness, meditation and other therapies. Our clients walk away from therapy feeling more confident as parents, thriving as professionals, and partners in relationships; you will feel less anxious about life and have motivation to live the life you want to live. If cost is a barrier, we have supervised social work interns on our team to offer pay-what-you-can therapy. Our interns also have completed perinatal mental health and birth trauma training, they can see you in office or virtually and are directly supervised by Amber Sperling. We also provide direct billing for Canada Life, Greenshield, Blue Cross and Manulife. Contact your insurance benefits provider to confirm eligibility for Social Work and/or Psychotherapy.
