The experience of A.A.® members is that alcoholism is a progressive illness that cannot be cured, but which, like many other illnesses, we can learn to live with. We do this by staying away from that first drink, one day at a time. A.A.® members have been exactly where you are. We know how hard it is, particularly at the start. We are happy to offer help by sharing our experience, strength and hope in living life without the need, desire or obsession of alcohol.
