Magic Valley

Magic Valley opened in 1971 with the creation of Story Book Village. Nova Scotia's original theme park, Including the magic castle and story book exhibits. Since that day in early July, generations of families have visited and revisited the enchanted forest where they found many of their favorite fairy tales which had been apart of their lives for years.This wooded wonderland for it's time was a place for families to relax together in clean pleasant natural surroundings. It was a decidedly different attraction for Nova Scotia. Nestled in a 6 acre wooded wonderland at the foot of Greenhill about 6 miles from New Glasgow. Children's imagination became reality and adults felt they had taken a walk back through their own childhood. A pond was then added offering boat rides to increase enjoyment.
