Welcome to the MHS website. We hope you will take some time to navigate around the site and become familiar with Millwood High School. The site includes very important information about school policies and procedures. I encourage all students to familiarize themselves with its contents and to use the site as a tool to assist them in having a successful and rewarding school year.I hope parents will also add www.millwood.ednet.ns.ca to their 'favourites'. Information regarding policies and procedures is equally important for parents and students, and this site contains a special section for parents with information on items such as bus schedules, school calendars, and School Advisory Council meetings. It also includes links to our on-line attendance and the Halifax Regional School Board website. I am looking forward to my first year as Principal of Millwood High. I stress the importance of academic achievement and encourage involvement in the extra-curricular life of the school. I am confident that the enthusiasm and professionalism of our staff, combined with the talents and energy of our student body, is going to make this an exciting and fulfilling year
