St Luke's Zion Lutheran Church

Welcome to St. Luke's Zion!Our mission is to build a caring community in Christ. Through Word and Sacrament, this community is healed and nurtured to go into the world to embody the love of God in daily life.This mission statement reflects what we do here at St. Luke's Zion. We gather together each week to hear and to study God's Word. We are also nourished each week at God's table, experiencing God's amazing grace coming to us through the gifts of bread and wine. In this gathering together, we seek to be strengthened and empowered in order to share God's love in the world around us. Building a caring community in Christ does not happen easily. It is only the power of God's Spirit at work that makes such a thing possible. Thus, we are always 'still building' this caring community. In doing so, we seek to center all that we do in Jesus Christ, in order that we might continue to learn and to grow as God's people.
