His sons Ron and Dexter assisted him. Their strategy was to change the body shop industry by offering the best in service and products. This was accomplished and became the standard other suppliers tried to emulate.The product offering was the very best the industry had to offer, Dupont Automotive Finishes and DeVilbiss Compressors and Spray Booths.Rondex was the first to do many things: computerize, offer in-house repair on air tools and compressors, hold trade shows and product information seminars, and take the Body Shop Supply business out of the back lane and on to the front street.To this day the company is still locally owned and operated. The grandsons of Ted Greenwood, Everett and Bret have joined the company and now make it the third generation – another first.Things have changed since 1972, Ted Greenwood is no longer with us, DuPont acquired Standox (the world's premier paint line).
