The Liberty Properties group was formed in the early 1990's as a real estate holding vehicle for assets in Canada and the United States. Initially owning and developing commercial properties in Arizon,a Liberty has focused in Alberta and in Manitoba since 2002.Our strength lies in the selection of solid investment opportunities with strong potential to add value through renovation or new construction. Single family homes or lots are acquired and evaluated to determine the most effective development strategy for their location and zoning. Apartment blocks are acquired, renovated based on Residential Tenancies guidelines and placed back on the market as 'decontrolled' rentals.Financing is comprised of low rate mortgages combined with private investment equity provided by a small group of investors. Investments are structured to minimize risk and may be secured by mortgages.
