Schalke Jackie

Jackie Schalke graduated from the West Coast College in Victoria, B.C. in December of 2002, after three years of studying Swedish massage techniques and courses in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and neurology. Jackie loves her career and finds it exciting to go to work each day to unravel the “mystery” each patient brings. It can benefit chronic neck and shoulder stiffness related to long-term computer use, relieve pressure and strain on the back related to body changes during pregnancy, and release spasms that develop due to sports and other physical activities. Massage therapy works the superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Through the use of various techniques, massage can enhance function, aid in the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being.
