Dr. Lapointe and Associates are committed to supporting families and children. Their areas of expertise include psychoeducational and developmental assessments of children, as well as counselling children of all ages and supporting parents. Dr. Lapointe and Associates use a variety of therapeutic approaches in their counselling work, including play therapy, to help families and children with issues concerning parent/child attachment, parent/family empowerment, as well as anxiety, behavioural and mood difficulties. Dr. Lapointe and Associates use the most current theoretical approaches in their assessment work to ensure a thorough and holistic understanding of each child/student's needs.
