Building codes differ from region to region, topless style railings may require a protective cap or top rail. Railings may also require different load ratings, anchoring, sealants or engineering. The system concept and standard components have been engineered to B.C. building code guidelines. Engineering for each job is site specific, and may not be required. Check with your building inspector for project specific requirements.
