Terra Remote Sensing Inc. is an internationally based Canadian remote sensing company with a background of 40 years of experience performing successful projects on five continents, in over 20 countries. Terra operates a full range of integrated and cutting-edge remote sensing technologies, on land and in marine environments. Our operational capabilities include: LiDAR, digital ortho­photography, hyper spectral, sidescan sonar, seismic, thermal, high-resolution video mapping, and GIS support services. In addition to the collection of geospatial data, Terra has developed unique software and internal processes to integrate and manage differing datasets into synergetic products. Our headquarters are in Victoria, BC, Canada, with an office serving Latin America in the city of Valparaiso, Chile, and sales offices in Santiago, Chile, Bellevue WA (USA), and China. Our continuous effort in research and development over the past 25 years has allowed us the ability to incorporate and merge varying data sets using different remote sensing techniques both in the acquisition and processing stages. Terra is actively involved in research and development projects with the University of Victoria and has been working as an industry partner, which has allowed our organization to gain invaluable knowledge in the field of Geomatics.
