Recognizing the difficulty faced by women who have special bra fitting needs, Bare Essentials Lingerie was opened by Barbara Sherman in the fall of 2006. Since that time, the store has developed a loyal clientele with many word of mouth referrals. In July of 2011 Janet Sellars purchased Bare Essentials and has continued to develop her business into what it is today. While we also carry lingerie for the “average” figure, we have not forgotten about you not so average gals! Be it Spanx shapewear for a special outfit, or a beautiful bra and panty set to accommodate a post-mastectomy or plus size woman, our staff is happy to help. It has been often said that 85% of all women are wearing the wrong size bra. Our bra fitting specialists will ensure that you leave the store with a well-fitting, flattering piece of lingerie.
