The Cowichan Intercultural Society (CIS) is a registered charitable society which has provided programs and services for refugees, immigrants and New Canadians over the past 35 years. We provide settlement support services such as: English language classes, tutoring, employment assistance, and we have settlement workers available for one on one client centered support. Additionally, our past and present programs and projects are aimed towards bridging newcomers and the community in partnerships with local government, community agencies and organizations, First Nations, schools and the business community. We are committed to co-creating welcoming and inclusive communities and workplaces.
