Burquitlam Lions Care Centre Opened On June 15, 1981. The Burquitlam Lions Care Centre Is A Three Storey 76 Bed Complex Care Facility That Provides 24-Hour Nursing Care To Seniors. The Reasons For Referral And Placement Are Many And Varied, But Encompass Physical, Cognitive, Psychosocial And Emotional Conditions. The Care Centre Is Owned And Operated By The Burquitlam Care Society And Sponsored By The Burquitlam Lions Club, And Funded By The B.C. Provincial Government Through The Fraser Health Authority.
