The company was founded in 1974 with a focus on commercial uniforms. In 1982, Ecotex expanded into contract healthcare laundry processing. Today, Ecotex focuses exclusively on healthcare textile services. The company serves the western United States and operates linen processing plants in the northwest and the southwest regions of the United States as well as in western Canada. Combined Ecotex launders a million pounds of textiles every week using the most environmentally-friendly practices available to the industry.
