Housewarmings is embracing her 14th year in business! They have evolved, grown and redirected in that time, but now through direct trade have created a unique store featuring exotic treasures crafted by skilled trades-masters of Northern Thailand. Located on Ross Street in the heart of downtown Red Deer, Alberta. Ross Street has a unique charm, it’s unconventional and unexpected and housewarmings reflects that with the character it brings to the street and to downtown's great overall arts vibe. Independently owned and operated, Catherine spends the month of February in Chiang Mai, Thailand to hand select every piece shipped by container annually. She wanders around to explore & discover small family run shops, meeting so many incredible Artisans and their families. Trips north to the smaller villages are also made, to buy from the skilled hands of local craftsmen.
