We derive our name from The Acropolis of Athens, one of the seven wonders of the world. From the ancient Greek, 'Acropolis' is translated as a 'fortified place in the city.' That ancient structure has stood the test of time, is noted for it's beauty and impressive stature as it sits atop a hill overlooking the city, and is still regarded as an engineering and design marvel.
