Windmill Mechanical Services Inc

When Gerry and Hans Langejans took over Windmill Mechanical Services Inc. they broadened the sheet metal company to include mechanical contracting and maintenance, HVAC and plumbing services. Gerry, president, and Hans, vice president, inherited the family business in 1994. The Langejans shook up the industry in 1995 when they changed the company business model to include these services, which were not normally offered by sheet metal companies. By subcontracting the plumbing, sprinklers, controls, balancing and insulation, the Langejans were able to be more competitive by including all these services.
