Howard Johnson Hotel

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a smile and great service, the staff and the amenities of the hotel exceeded my exceptions, I paid only $ 95 for the room .. Not bad !! I had a meeting at the hotel and stayed a few nights. My room was wonderful with King bed, 40" LCD TV and DVD Player, fridge, microwave. The bathroom was not a big but I don't need lot of room when I travel by myself. I was on the 4th floor, there was a great view of Weber street from my window. I will definitely stay again.

Staff very helpful, decent room, quiet as requested. Chose this hotel based on location only but it turned out to be pretty good for a HOJO. Comfortable bed and clean room.

My son's hockey team stayed there in February. They gave us all rooms on the same floor, which was nice. Usually when we stay at a hotel with the team one or two people get stuck on another floor and having young kids who want to be with their friends, it is not fun! We rented a meeting room out downstairs that we were able to use to have a team pizza party, they reccommended a really good pizza place called Topper's, best pizza ever, if you are in kitchener, go there! Anyway, the rooms were nice, clean, and pretty good size. The pool was great, the kids loved it! and it was close to the arena where our tournament was. Overall it was a good time, the hotel is nice, the lobby and pool area well cared for, the rooms were standard, and it was a good price. I would stay again in we have another tournament in Kitchener.

We were travelling with our 8 month old and the large suite we were provided was fantastic. There was plenty of room to set up our playpen that served as his crib on the road, with lots of room to spare. The fridge and microwave in the suite was also a God-send for keeping baby fed and happy. It was a sound sleep for everyone.

We like to stay at this hotel when we visit family in Kitchener. On this occasion, like the others, the staff was friendly, helpful and available. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was excellant. Clean and warm when we arrived. The heater was simple and effective. The other appliances where new, as well. The new queen beds where awesome. The wife and me both have back problems and we had one of the best sleeps in ages. The pool was warm, clean and now has been switched to salt. No more chlorine! The breakfast provided had a good selection, ample quantities and was fresh. Connecting to the intrernet was simple. Overall it would be hard to beat this hotel for quality of stay in this price range.

My freind threw a party there.. the hall was preety big.. it was very nice. My car wouldn't start after the party; it was late and i was really tired so me and my friends decided to rent a room and split the cost. The room we stayed in was nice.

I had found online that the HoJo had one of the better rates in the area, so we drove on over. It was late and we must have looked like a pair of drowned rats, but the gentleman at the front desk was polite and helpful, and even allowed us a late check-out.

It was nice stay with my wife in this hotel. My wife was so happy as we enjoyed in swimming pool & Hot tub. It was very nice quite night. We enjoyed morning breakfast as well. We strongly recommed this hotel due to a reasonable price.

I stayed at this hotel just recently, and I have to say that it was a very enjoyable stay. I got a great rate, the room was very big (2 beds and still lots of room). The view wasn't the best, but who cares. The room was clean, had everything we needed and then if you forgot your toothbrush or something they brought one up for you. Place is very nice. I was quite surprised considering that I only paid $ a night. They have a big pool, and a nice restaurant. Would definately stay again. Good Value. Highly Reccommend.

Due to a noisy party nieghbours were having in the pouring rain, we decided we needed to stay in a hotel to get some much needed sleep. The hotel room was great, very clean, we had no complaints (except we wish our weekend was longer, but hey there's really nothing we can do about that....). We think it is a great price and a well deserved weekend. We will for sure come back, I mean they have everything that other hotels have too but at a cheaper price.

For the purpose of my visit is was a good hotel and the staff was very helpfull. I was there with 7 other friends and all has a pleasant stay. The surrounding was perfect for fast shopping.

We had two rooms in the tower of an older motel. The rooms were large, well maintained and clean. I was satisfied and would stay there again.

I have been to this Howard Johnson many times with friends and family. It has always been my default place in the K-W area. I can't say enough about this place. I have stayed there over a dozen times over the previous 2 years and there is a reason I only stay here. Excellent service! Large rooms with King Bedrooms are low prices.

Modest hotel in a quiet neibourhood. Strong points include the large rooms, indoor pool with large open sitting area, friendly staff, free parking, and conveniently located ammenities next to the hotel.

The staff were able to help direct us to all the local tourist attractions, we visited Sports World with our kids and after a long exhausting day we returned to our cool and comfortable room, where the family sat and watched a movie, and ordered in some food. Overall it was a great experience, and the kids loved the pool.

My ex and I stayed here together, and we had a good time here. It is great location for shopping, and dining. The staff were wondeful, and the food was great! The rooms are big, and have a lot of space within. The bathroom was very clean, and provided everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, I almost didn't want to check out. A wonderful stay!

I came here with my husband for our daughter's wedding. The wedding was beautiful, and the reception was great. They did the dinner and both that, the staff and the hall were wonderful. The rooms were very nice, and they gave us adjoining rooms with my mother so that was nice too. The pool was so nice and warm and the hot tub too. Didn't have the breakfast, but the restaurant looked nice. My daughter's special day was wonderful and the venue was perfect.

we just arrived hotel from airport and we get very warm welcome from front desk, front desk was very helpful to us as we were new in this area, we have 3 rooms for 3 nights. there was wonderful, comfortable and nice stay, we got relaxation in heated pool and in hot tub after our busy day. room was very big. i love this hotel, from our office we have to come 2 time a year so definitely we will come to this hotel again.
