I highly recommend Simdy's. I needed my wedding dress altered within a week in July which is a wedding-packed month. Simdy was able to do it on time. Her workmanship is very fine. Her suggestion to shorten the front and leave the length in the back untouched was fabulous. Everybody commented the advice as gorgeous and cute. Thanks Simdy. I won't hesitate to bring anything to you for alteration.

I highly recommend going to see Simdy if you need a good tailor. I needed to have major alterations done to my wedding dress and I only had 3wks before my wedding. Simdy and Fred were great. They were able to change the zipper, let the dress out, as well as shorten it all within 2wks. She's a very nice lady and a talented seamstress. I'll be bringing all of my alterations to her from now on.

My daughter was married June 26th, 2010. Just before the wedding she had alterations done on her and the bridesmaids dresses. They turned out great, done on time and fair price. What is truly more amazing is that the week before the wedding my daughter took her designer gown to a local drycleaner who said he specialized in wedding gowns. Short story - he destroyed the gown by washing it!!! It came back 3 inches shorter and a rag. The owner would not return her calls till Monday afternoon knowing the wedding was the following Saturday. At loss at what to do, she took the ruined gown to Simby's and through their kindness and expertise helped her locate 15 meters of the same silk and then they spent several late nights taking apart the ruined gown top make pattern pieces from which they sewed an identical gown. They also went with her to meet with the drycleaner and helped her get a settlement for the cost of labour and material. The gown was stunning. Like a mirror of the original gown. The asistance in time of need was outstanding. We could never thank them enough and highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Simdy to anyone who is looking for a great, professional tailor. I got my pants taken in and was very happy with the work they've done. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the work as well.
