To all the Chinese students and other people who want to come and study in U of A please DO NOT rent in this place. It is one of the most horrible buildings to live around university. I am currently living here for about one year and I made the mistake of coming to this place because I just didn’t know anybody. The staff from the office are the most disgusting people in Alberta (I don’t even think they’re from here) because in general people from Alberta are very polite. When you have a complaint about something you go to the office and it is very hard to find them as they are usually smoking behind the doors and you have to stay there just waiting for them to come and talk to you with this very strong smell of cigarette. My friend who is from Africa was applying to rent here and he even told me about the racism of the fat smelly rental agent form the office, sadly he went to the other building where he was able to get his apt. My lease is ending soon and I have found a very nice building very close to the university. Just want to let people know about this horrible place. PLEASE DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!!
