Electrical Safety Authority

The Electrical Safety Authority was established in 1999. Tasked with enhancing electrical safety in Ontario, we are an independent not-for-profit organization committed to our vision of eliminating electrical fatalities and injuries. We regulate the Ontario Electrical Safety code, license electrical contractors and master electricians, as well as electrical product safety and distribution system safety.
