Wellpoint Family Practice

Wellpoint Health was founded in 2004 as a corporate health clinic based in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, with a large family practice later incorporated into the same location. In 2008, we expanded west with the acquisition of Starpoint Health Corp., which owned a successful occupational health clinic located in the Foothills industrial area in Calgary. In 2010, two more occupational health clinics were added; one in Edmonton and the other in South Calgary.Wellpoint's growth has accelerated since 2012 with the addition of another clinic in Edmonton, two medical clinics in British Columbia and the acquisition of WellServe, one of Ontario's largest and most well-respected occupational health services firms based in in Guelph. In 2013, we acquired HEALTHSERV (SASK), Saskatchewan's largest occupational health services provider with clinic locations in Regina and Saskatoon, and CALA Safety, a recognized leader in safety, industrial medic services and occupational healthcare in northern Alberta
