Travel safely worldwide with healthy advice
My wife and I have traveled to several places in Asia , the South Pacific, various places in Africa and Europe all with Dr. Hii's advice and consultations. He has the latest info at his fingertips and personal broad and deep experience in many places. I recommend this office to anyone who wants to travel with confidence.

Review of Traveller's Medical Service
I have always been pleased with the services received from Dr. John Hii and his organization, Traveller's Medical Service. I met Dr. Hii in 1998 when preparing to go on my first trip to a developing country. I travel each year to Asia, Africa or Central America as a volunteer with a Canadian charity. I value Dr. Hii's specialized knowledge of the risks in each country, the information one needs to know, and the inoculations and prescriptions required. Dr. Hii provides clear instructions, and written material I can refer to later. His specialized computer software allows him to "drill down" and check if there are recent risk changes in specific towns or regions in the country we will be visiting. Dr. Hii is located on Bay Street in downtown Toronto, a short walk from the Queen St. or Osgoode subway stations. I am now retired and live in Etobicoke, so I have to drive or take the subway down to see Dr. Hii. Frankly, I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else.

TRAVEL MED SVCS & GEOMED
We've always experienced great detailed service from the travel doctor as his knowledge base and experience from third-world countries is considerable. We understand that physicians these days have quite a lot of knowledge base to update, notwithstanding outbreaks around the > 300 nations in the world. The reception has always been courteous and helpful, the travel assessments from the physician ultimately detailed and professional, and the immunizations were given by his clinical staff in an orderly and informed nature. We have had little side-effects from these vaccines. The physician himself, it seems only appears busy but he has a lot of ground to cover and for that, we have always brought in our vaccine booklets and travel schedule to help him. The travel clinic has always been a great resource for us, and we always leave smiling inside as we leave confident in our new travels. The clinic is conveniently located between two subway stops, Eaton or St Andrews and is always punctual.

Not Recommended
The staff at this clinic is quite pleasant, with the exception of the doctor himself. Dr John Hii is rude and impatient. When he asked questions, he expected short, concise answers. It felt more like a military regime than a doctor's examination. He spoke in a low, quiet voice, which can be difficult to understand. However, questions are not "allowed" until the end of his presentation. I would not recommend this doctor.
