When transplanted Toronto businessman Alnoor Sayani opened Lahore Tikka House in 1996, it was just a handful of tables and a big dream. This Indian-Pakistani resto in Leslieville has since become an important social hub for the South Asian community, celebrated for its community-drawing powers as much as for its special cuisine. Newly renovated in authentic street-style decor, Lahore Tikka House draws crowds hungry for its soft naan, chicken biryani and butter chicken decadence.
