This place is a hidden gem! This "mom & pop...
This place is a hidden gem! This "mom & pop" store has been around for 20 years. The food is well seasoned & has a home made taste. Gramps is a cool & funny guy. The atmosphere is very laid back & tropical. The stewed dishes are the best I've had in Toronto. I travel 15 min. for the pleasure. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Gramps and Elaine's cow foot is the best you will ever eat-I love their soups too -the only improvement would be if they would put more meat and dumplings because it's kinda sparce but the flavour rocks. As for the other dishes on the menu-you really can't go wrong-this restaurant has been around for over twenty years going strong-that should tell you something. BTW This is a Jamaican (West Indian) Take- out -Restaurant -not INDIAN lolz

These people have a good down to earth attitude...
These people have a good down to earth attitude & the food follows suit. There is real home cooking flavour in the food. I don't know but I think it's in the seasoning & preparation because I haven't had such flavourful steak or oxtail anywhere else. Also, not too spicy. Try the stewbeef roti, it's my fave. Have fun! PS. This is a Jamaican WEST Indian restaurant.
