Halia Anna Michalko

Family Law with compassion and integrity. Before becoming a lawyer, Halia Anna Michalko was a Toronto high school teacher for 13 years, and also worked as an assistant probationary parole officer. She graduated from McGill University in Civil and Common Law, and holds two masters degrees as well, one in Criminology and the other in Curriculum Design (Aerospace). Ms. Michalko has been in Ottawa for 9 years and has worked with families and individuals for more than 24 years now. Her area of specialty is family law, which includes tax issues, custody and access concerns, the equalization of property, cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, divorce and mediation.
