Ride the Waves Counselling Service

I am a Registered Social Worker, working in the field of social services for the last 15 years. My main area of expertise and experience is working with youth that have been involved with the justice system. I have helped youth with issues including (but not limited to) exploring involvement in the justice system, helping them find new and alternate ways to achieve their desired goals, identifying their strengths and weaknesses, and finding new directions in their lives. I am a compassionate counsellor with a very strong ability to connect with clients, helping them examine themselves honestly and in a caring manner. Counselling and therapy can be a very difficult process that triggers our emotional senses. For this reason, I take great pride in being able to provide clients with a comfortable space to explore their own lives. I feel privileged to have been able to take a few steps in life's journey with all the clients I have worked with and hope to walk a few steps with you too.
