Eitz Chaim Schools

Eitz Chaim provides a balanced approach to education that is unique among Toronto's Jewish day schools on two fronts:Living a life of Torah Judaism while living in the wider world supported with a strong general studies curriculum. The Eitz Chaim student is one that is first and foremost immersed in Torah with an exceptional program in limudei kodesh, one that highlights the core subjects of Chumash, Navi, Mishna, Gemara, and Jewish Law. At the same time, our students are taught a first rate general studies program that prepares them to live in the wider world as b'nei Torah. At Eitz Chaim, we strive to provide that balance that allows our students to acquire skills of the highest standard in Torah studies, while developing awareness for the importance of ethical conduct. As an outgrowth of these values, we consciously connect study with ma'ase -- responsible action, focusing on students' relationships with their peers, rebbeim, family, and Jews in the wider community.
