Come here for fish chips - will not disappoint!

When the food is good, it's very good - when it's not, it's a bit on the greasy side and could be cooked longer but is still edible and tasty. However, we had been frequent visitors for a while, and tapered off solely because of the service. We do not find the current waitress professional or particularly friendly, and she is the sole reason we don't go more often. We often get the impression we're annoying her by showing up, or she's too busy chatting up regulars to serve others properly (not just us - we've seen it with others). If we're in the mood for fish & chips, we usually end up here, but we definitely think twice before spending our hard-earned cash for middling service.

Excellent food for the value, large portions, excellent service and very clean restaurant, warm and very freindly service and warm smiles.

The best fish and chips restaurant in the GTA. Family run, Mississauga Marketplace Fish & Chips has a friendly staff and a menu with exactly what you'd expect. The Alaskan halibut was lightly battered and cooked to perfection. I can't imagine eating Fish and Chips anywhere else. It may be a 30 minute drive to get there, but it's worth it.

Great food, nice atmosphere (must have been recently reno'd). Nice staff, and amazing food! This is going to be my new lunchtime favourite!

We came across this place last summer on our way from Midland to London....since then we stop off each time we and relatives get together......the food is supreme, the service is wonderful, the atmosphere is great.....when family members, friends and associates want a place to meet, eat and mingle we tell them there is only one place in Mississauga that we frequent and that is the Martgplace....Bravo.....ever consider settingup a Marketplace in Midland at the north end of thec County of Simcoe?

The batter was just right, not too much. The chips were perfect. The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.

I visit at this location at least 3-4 times a month. I have NEVER had a problem with this establishment. The food is ALWAYS great as well as the staff!! Try it you'll LOVE it!

Try the onion rings... for a sinfully amazing meal, you won't regret it!!
